Salt quantity to cook pasta

To give taste to your pasta, you must add salt to your water. Rule of thumb is very simple, 10 grams of salt for 1 litre of water. And if you're not comfortable measuring, I suggest you weigh it. It will always give you the exact quantity. It may seem a lot but the pasta will absorb what it needs. The rest will go down the drain.
